Backwell Sequence Dance Club
About Us
History of the Club
Backwell Sequence Dance Club was formed in September 1945 to provide entertainment for the residents of Backwell and the surrounding villages following the end of the war in Eurpoe and the return of the servicemen.

We celebrated our 70th Anniversary last year with a special Buffet and Dance with live music and welcomed back some old members and friends from neighbouring clubs. SeeĀ our Photos page to see pictures of the nights.

We meet weekly on Tuesday nights throughout the year, except some Tuesday's after a Bank Holiday.

We are a friendly, vibrant Sequence Dance Club that dances the popular Sequence Dances that you will be familiar with from Social DancesĀ and Cruises.

We welcome new members and vistors, so feel free to call, contact or just turn up, your first trial is free.

We also hold regular Beginner's courses where you can learn the most popular sequence dances at a pace that suits you. No dancing experience is necessary. Information about these is normally mentioned on our Home page and on our News page, so keep an eye out.
